To help you make the most of your stay at Camping Reine Mathilde ***, we've put together all the practical information you might need. Reception opening times, booking procedures, services included in your stay, facilities available on site, house rules... Everything has been thought of to offer you a carefree stay close to Omaha Beach and the historic sites of the D-Day landings. Opening times

Opening times and periods

Camping Reine Mathilde *** is open from April 1st to September 26th. The reception is open every day from 8:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 19:00 throughout the season. Check-ins for rentals are between 16:00 and 19:00, and check-outs before 10:00. For pitches, check-ins are between 14:00 and 19:00, and check-outs before 12:00. For late arrivals, please notify us by phone. The entrance barrier of the campsite is closed between 23:00 and 7:00 to ensure everyone’s peace and quiet. Our snack bar is open every day during the high season (12:00-14:00 and 18:30-21:00) and on weekends during the low season. The swimming pool is accessible from June 15th to September 15th from 10:00 to 19:00 depending on the weather conditions.

Services included Normandy campsite

Your stay at Camping Reine Mathilde *** includes access to all the campsite's communal facilities: heated swimming pool and paddling pool (from 15 June to 15 September), children's play area, multi-sports pitch, boules pitch, table tennis, sanitary facilities (with free hot water in the showers) and communal room with television. Free Wi-Fi is available in the communal areas (reception, bar, terrace). Parking for one vehicle per pitch or rental is included. Cyclists have free access to the secure bike room and basic repair kit. In high season (July-August), daytime and evening entertainment is also included in your stay.

For even greater comfort, we offer a range of services at extra cost: sheet hire (€8/single bed, €11/double bed), cot (€3/day or €20/week), high chair (€2/day or €14/week), tokens for washing machine (€4) and tumble dryer (€3), washing powder (€1), barbecue hire (€5/day or €25/week, charcoal not provided), fridge hire for pitches (€5/day or €25/week).

Internal rules and important information

For everyone's well-being, we ask you to respect the campsite's internal rules, given to you on your arrival and displayed at reception. Pets are accepted (except category 1 and 2), on a lead and on presentation of an up-to-date vaccination certificate (supplement of €3/day). Electric barbecues are prohibited for safety reasons (charcoal and gas barbecues are permitted on the dedicated pitches). Silence is requested between 10.30pm and 7am. The speed limit within the campsite is 10 km/h. Visitors must report to reception and pay a fee of €4/person if they stay for more than 2 hours (pool access not included).
